Provence is a beautiful, warm and cozy style that I recommend for people that would like a more neutral “classic”. The client (retired couple) wanted a cute, light but colored space while still having a new and fresh feel. We opted for a modern Nordic kitchen with Provence inspired colors and accessories. We used mostly white and wood. The “cute and pink-ish” became light lilac, a more cold and fresh version of pink. It all got tied together by the warm black elements.

The main challenge of this project was the layout. The client wanted a bigger dining area with a bigger kitchen (more storage and counter space). To optimize the space we got rid of one door and a small separating wall, changed the direction of the kitchen and extended the dining area.
